Municipal YiJia Junior High School in Kaohsiung City is a rural school with limited educational resources. The school faced critical issues such as students lagging behind academically and a high dropout rate.
/
Upon learning about the foundation’s commitment to supporting education, the school actively sought its assistance. The foundation introduced both mathematics and Chinese language materials to support 19 eighth-grade students through an academic enrichment program.
/
By the end of the program, all students had caught up to their grade level in mathematics. Additionally, 79% of the students advanced by one academic year, and one student had even begun studying university-level material.

Teachers at the school expressed their gratitude for the introduction of the KUMON method, which significantly improved students’ academic abilities and confidence, enabling them to approach challenges with enthusiasm.
