Dr. Ming-Chuan Hsieh from the National Academy for Educational Research conducted an experimental study on "Self-Learning in Mathematics for Seventh-Grade Students." Through this initiative, the foundation introduced KUMON mathematics at DaJia Junior High School, involving 30 students in an enrichment program.

The study concluded that self-learning programs significantly enhance students' academic performance. Once students' motivation is stimulated, they tend to persist in their studies and demonstrate noticeable academic progress.
