    Dr. Ming-Chuan Hsieh from the National Academy for Educational Research conducted an experimental study on "Self-Learning in Mathematics for Seventh-Grade Students." Through this initiative, the foundation introduced KUMON mathematics at DaJia Junior High School, involving 30 students in an enrichment program.

    The study concluded that self-learning programs significantly enhance students' academic performance. Once students' motivation is stimulated, they tend to persist in their studies and demonstrate noticeable academic progress.

    The study also highlighted the importance of incentives, which help students remain engaged in learning while minimizing external distractions.

    Finally, the research emphasized the impact of academic achievement on motivation. When teachers adjust lesson progress based on students' abilities and implement differentiated instruction, students gain a sense of accomplishment, fostering continuous learning motivation.
