Empowering Women through Education to Build a Gender-Equal Society

We were honored to participate in the NGO CSW69 Parallel Event held on March 14,2025 at the Church Center of the United Nations (CCUN) in New York. Under the theme “Empowering Women through Education to Build a Gender-Equal Society,” the forum explored how education can strengthen women’s capacities and contribute to advancing gender equality for a more inclusive future.

The forum was chaired by Ms. Winnie Wen-Yu Chao, the President of our foundation, and featured a keynote speech by Ms. Abby Kuo.

We were honored to invite distinguished speakers, including Dr. Moriko Hori, President of the Women’s Federation for World Peace International; Dr. Jeanine Czech, a former U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and current physician with the Veterans Health Administration; and Ms. Yu Nakayama, Youth Program Coordinator of the Women’s Federation for World Peace Japan. Together, they engaged in meaningful dialogue on the vital role of education in empowering women.
