"Cherishing Food" Helps Children Learn to Appreciate Food. What's the secret to reducing food waste?
Through interactive lessons, children get hands-on experience by making banana cake. The program starts with reading and extends to a DIY baking activity, enhancing children's imagination and initiative. It encourages them to apply the concept of a "green lifestyle" from picture books to real life, fostering an awareness of food appreciation, refining fine motor skills, and improving concentration.
The foundation inspires children through picture book stories related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), incorporating food and agricultural education games and DIY baking activities. The program provides rich materials and hands-on experiences to deepen their understanding.
